Omar Aziz is a multidisciplinary artist and designer working at the intersection of fashion, craft, and technology. With a diverse and creative background in apparel, textiles, and sustainable product development, his practice blends traditional techniques with advanced digital tools to create work that is both innovative and culturally rooted.
Omar’s commercial work includes creative direction and technical expertise that span collection development, textile innovation, 3D prototyping, and product lifecycle integration for premium to luxury brands.
Through his cultural and trade work, he has consulted for organizations including the United Nations and European Union on initiatives focused on heritage preservation, refugee empowerment, and sustainable innovation.
His artistic practice explores themes of identity, migration, and social justice through mixed-media and design collaborations. His work has been featured in Paris and Milan Design Week, V Magazine, and Digital Fashion Week NY. He holds an MDes in Fashion + Textiles from the Glasgow School of Art, with training from Parsons and a BFA in Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
